Thank you

The lovely thank you card we got

Woodstock camp

After interviewing most of the people at the Woodstock Festival we got to the conclusion that people enjoyed it a lot. Some of the most popular activities were water volleyball, making bracelets and necklaces, and making dream catchers.

The first night there was a great campfire with games and lots of songs and people are getting ready for tonight when they will see the performances, dance and sing.

The Woodstock Festival

Last night we went to the music as Woodstock. We really enjoy it, there were a lot of difference bands, that they have to sing a different song from the age.

The first group that sang was Flower Power who sang 'Stand by Me' by John Lennon (pop/rock). Nicolas Basile and Patricio played the guitar, it was really cool. So Flower Power started the festival off with a bang. The rest of the line up goes as follows

Slaves Revenge
'Blowing in the Wind' Bob Dylan

Melbournites
'One Love' Bob Marley
Reggae
Tomas Sueldo play the guitar

The Groovy Lovers
'I got my mind set on you' George Harrison
Rock

Baby Boomers
'Wild Thing' The Troggs
Rock

Vegemite Rocks
'All you need is love' Beatles
Rock

What's the Craic
Twist and Shout' Beatles
Rock

It finished at 10.30pm but we stayed there to 12.30pm, we sang, talked, dance and had a lot of fun.

We really enjoyed it. We can't wait to the next year

Cultural Differences

There are a lot of differences between Corrientes and Buenos Aires, but they also have things in common. In Buenos Aires there's an hour where the traffic is terrifying from 8-9 am, when people go to work and from 5-6 in the afternoon when people come back from work. But in Corrientes the streets are narrow so there's always a lot of traffic especially form 6-8pm and from 11am-1pm.

There are some things that people from Corrientes and Buenos Aires have in common. In both provinces people usually drink mate in the afternoon, they also like barbecue and empanadas. However people from Corrientes usually take a nap in the afternoon, whereas people from Buenos Aires don't.
Both provinces have famous rock bands. Corrientes for example have bands like 'La Murga' and 'La 2.20' and in Buenos Aires there are Arbol, Bersuit, Vergaraba, Los Piojos and more.

They also have different accents but they can understand each other. They like different things about each province like the population, the views and the buildings but people from both provinces have one thing in common; they feel great when they are home.
